Here’s what I found yesterday:
- Facebook's to Pass US Population Numbers – So, would you ignore a country this large?
- Delicious is not dead! (Janet Fouts) – Some new features for our favorite bookmarking tool.
- California Economic Recovery Portal – Stimulus Map – Terrific way to look at the stimulus money. I'd love to see this applied to other funding streams.
- The Ingenuity of the American People – "Today, we celebrate the ingenuity of the American people with the announcement of Datamasher.org as the winner of the Apps for America contest. Datamasher.org provides the public with a simple interface to mash up government datasets to analyze and visualize the data in innovative ways."

Hey Marnie, nice to make it into your bookmarks. Thanks for sharing the link to the stimulus map I would love to see more transparency like this and Datamasher down the road, but I wonder how long big brother will allow it.
@Janet — agreed that we need more transparency and ways of looking at the data. I worry most that it won’t be consistent state to state and we’ll up thinking we understand things that we really don’t. But that’s kinda always the case (speaking for myself anyway).
