Jul 26, 11:40 pm: Why no archives?

Frankly, I don’t think the big chunk of date-based archives found on most weblogs are all that useful. Instead, I’ve plugged in a way to browse by category and installed a live search (go ahead, click out of your aggregator and to the blog. Type something into the search field and look at the result. Pretty cool eh?). What do you think? Do I need a way for people to plunge into date-based archives?
