Jul 7, 07:49 pm: What's in a digital media toolkit?

I’m going to speaking, with some other panelists, at tomorrow’s Alliance for Community Media International Conference and Trade Show. My role, in the presentation, is to talk about the ways that nonprofits are using weblogs and podcasts (I couldn’t find any examples of video bloggers).

I’ll be sharing a handout that has some examples of nonprofits using blogs and podcasts. I’ll also be working on some talking points about the benefits that nonprofits are seeing as a result of using these tools and how that can apply to community media groups. If you all have any good suggestions, please leave them in the comments.

In the meantime, thanks to many of my collegues (listed in the sources section of the handout) for their hard work. It’s made preparing for this presentation a (relative) breeze.

    This is a great handout … I’ll add a link to it .. THis isn’t a video blog exactly, but a video clip on a blog/wiki from Walker … shows their new signage.

    Beth, thanks for the extra link. I wanted an example of each form to show and now I have it.

    Brian, linking was the easy part. Thanks for setting up the PSA feed. I’m hoping that getting that in front of this particular audience will help create awareness of this.
