Jan 17, 05:45 am: Nptech skypecast anyone?

Okay, I can’t find an easy way to propose dates to an unknown group (meeting wizard, timetomeet all assume I’m sending an invite to folks by email) so how about you all drop a comment to let me know if you’re interested and which times work best and then I’ll plug it into upcoming.org. We have the call as a skypecast.

First, though, it might be nice to talk about the purpose of the call. Beth wraps it up pretty well in her latest nptech roundup post.

Here are some thoughts on an agenda. You can drop comments or feel free to edit the agenda. The password is the clever colleciton of characters: nptech

Here are the proposed times:

  • Tue, 1/23: 11am – 12pm
  • Wed, 1/24: 8am – 9am
  • Fri, 1/26: 9am – 10am

All times Pacific.

    I’m a newcomer to this discussion, but I’m putting together a Web project whose focus will include issues like this, so I just might tag along on the call. (Har-har.) As to times, I’m also agreeable to the order Nancy listed…

    Hey, Marnie! I can’t do Friday – Wednesday is best for me, and I’d really like to participate. I moved my domain around a few times last week (long story) and, when I landed, I decided that it’s time to do something with the nptech aggregator site we put together, as long as the goals are realistic, given how insane my job makes me. So I registered nptech.info and, for the moment, put a redirect there to nptech.krazy.com. I’d like to also put the site on a newer rev of Drupal; redesign it a little – and any help I can get would be appreciated—just to make it look like less of a neglected effort, even if that’s a fair description. This particular neglected effort generally has anywhere from five to 25 active viewers, so it’s worth some investment.
